SES.HOSPEDAJES — Digital traveller registration
SES.HOSPEDAJES is the Spanish Ministry of the Interior platform for mandatory traveller data reporting. Mandatory since 2 December 2024 for all accommodation providers including VUTs. Data must be submitted within 24 hours of check-in. Penalties range from €600 to €30,000.

SES.HOSPEDAJES is the Spanish Ministry of the Interior's digital platform for the mandatory reporting of traveller data by all accommodation providers with overnight stays, including Tourist Use Properties (VUT).
Scope
All owners or managers of accommodation with overnight stays in Spain are required to comply, except in the Basque Country and Catalonia. This applies even to a single property managed on a non-professional basis.
Required data per traveller
Up to 17 mandatory fields per traveller:
- Full name
- Type and number of identity document
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Full home address
- Contact phone number
- Email address
- Number of travellers in the group
- Family relationship between group members
Submission deadline
Data must be submitted within 24 hours of check-in.
Data protection — important notice
Identity document images must not be stored in any persistent storage layer (AEPD position, note 17/06/2025, GDPR data minimisation principle). Reporting is done in real time; document images must not be archived.
Penalties
Failure to comply with the reporting obligation is sanctioned with fines ranging from €600 to €30,000.
